Ballistol Klever Trophy Bleaching and Bone Bleaching makes hunting trophies and bone specimens from the teaching collection white and like new again. The memory of an important hunt will not fade away. The trophy, however, is likely to show signs of age and decline after a couple of years. With the white color of the skull and bones becoming yellow, the antlers do not look as good as they once did. This product allows you to restore the original pure white condition of the skull and other bones. Keep the sight of the trophy unchanged like your memories.
Klever Trophy Bleaching and Bone Bleaching is for use on skeletal parts, prepared bones, skulls and skeletons. You can whiten skulls and other bone parts both during the initial preparation and during restoration. Whether as a trophy for the hunter or as a teaching piece for students, the presentations simply look better when sparkling white.
Application of Trophy Bleach:
First, dissolve 15-30 g of Klever trophy and bone bleach per 300 ml in cold water. Next, insert the part to be bleached and slowly heat it to a boil. Let cool down again. Then rinse the preparation with water after approx. 15 hours or, if the bleach process has not had the desired effect, then repeat. The yellowed skulls and other specimens should become pure white again.
After heating, the used product will contain only mineral salts, as they are found in all bodies of water. Disposal of the used trophy and bone bleach solution can therefore can take place in an environmentally friendly manner via the house sewer system.
Trophy treatment with steel wool
Fine and finest steel wool for polishing – tip for trophy treatment: Fine and finest steel wool in degrees of fineness from 0 to 0000. Depending on the degree of fineness, you can create a finish on the trophy from matt to high gloss. If you work in a damp environment, a stainless steel wool may be of interest to you.
